Company history
From the First Assignment to Nationwide Presence
1987
Founding in Kaltenkirchen
Thomas Pütz, founder and current CEO of Pütz Security AG, personally handled the company’s very first security assignment alone. However, the growing demand for private security services in the region quickly necessitated the creation of a team and the establishment of an initial organizational structure. Even in its early days, the company focused on event security. As the volume of assignments increased, the company expanded beyond the region, taking on security tasks throughout northern Germany. Despite this growth, Thomas Pütz was often directly involved in operations, managing major security projects on-site.

Expansion of Services
During the 1990s, we broadened our range of services. In addition to event security, the so-called "stationary guarding service" gained importance. Clients entrusted us with the protection of corporate buildings, shopping centers, and construction projects. At the same time, demand for technical security systems increased as they became more complex. A modern emergency call and service control center was established, and patrol vehicles for site monitoring were introduced. Since then, we have been available to our clients around the clock.

2007
Rebranding to a Public Company and Partnership with State Police
With the rebranding to Pütz Security AG in 2007, we adopted the name by which we are known today and began a successful partnership with the Schleswig-Holstein State Police, enabling close coordination on shared security objectives. This partnership represents a significant milestone in our history and underscores the quality and reliability of our services.
Event security for boxing matches holds a special place in our operations. Thomas Pütz’s passion for the sport led us to secure numerous international boxing events. Providing personal protection for athletes during live broadcasts and implementing comprehensive security measures at the events earned us nationwide recognition.
