Dominic Heil

This is where the “classic” security services are mapped. The challenge here often lies in the diversity. The more different the local object conditions are, the more different the security solutions are.

Technical advice, object surveys, service instructions, preparatory personnel management – this is the daily routine of Dominic Heil (division manager), André Eydeler (division manager) and their team, who together coordinate the security service for shopping centers, jewelry stores, casinos, job center service centers, construction projects and many other objects. Of course, they handle permanent and regular objects with the same professionalism as short-term and one-time orders.

Dominic first worked in operations for our company in 2013 and André joined our team in early 2019.

Event Security

The security service for large events is organized here. Clients include operators of permanent event venues such as the Barclaycard Arena Hamburg or the Hamburg Sports Hall. Daily staffing levels of 150 security personnel and more are not uncommon for this department.

Operations of this magnitude must be carefully prepared in advance. Situation assessments, security concepts, operational sections, implementation plans, preparatory personnel management, operational meetings – this is the daily business of Stefan Braune (division manager), Thomas Metzler (site manager) and their team.

But also one-off or regular major events such as professional boxing events, beach volleyball championships, the Kitesurf World Cup on Fehmarn, the Windsurf World Cup on Sylt and many more are secured by this department. Missions of this kind are organized and coordinated by Sabrina Placke and Karoline Pütz.

The entire department can draw on a wealth of experience in dealing with event organizers and authorities. Therefore, they can adapt to the interests of the organizers and also implement them in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and official requirements.

They personally accompany large operations on site and often take direct leadership. This enables them to provide their clients with detailed situation reports at any time, to implement measures quickly and to be close to their employees.

By the way, they are just as happy and professional to organize event protection for more manageable occasions such as graduation parties, anniversary celebrations, school festivals and the like.

The entire department can look back on years of experience in our company: Thomas first worked for Pütz Security AG back in 2005; Stefan and Sabrina have now been part of our team for a good 10 years and Jana joined in 2015 and Karoline in 2016.

Theater security

Lothar Bäßler

This division primarily coordinates and organizes security services in musical and theater venues throughout Germany. The challenge here lies primarily in the special demands on personnel and the typical tasks of key account assignments.

In addition, the area of event services has also fallen under this functional area since 2019. Service staff, hostesses, cloakroom attendants and service lines are coordinated by our team and deployed based on our clients’ requests.

Orders such as these, where the nature and complexity of the work means that management is detached from the usual structures, are handled by Lothar Bäßler (division manager) and his team.
Lothar has been working for our company since 2016 and has already gained operational as well as administrative experience during his career with the company.

Ship and port security

Here, the complete security service is organized around the topic of port security. The scope of duties includes the coordination of fire watches for repair work on various ships and yachts, but also new construction projects are supervised and monitored by our fire watches. This area of responsibility also includes the uninterrupted guarding of the ships – they are under our observation day and night.

Orders of this special kind require a high degree of flexibility on the part of the employees, but also on the part of the division manager. For Matthias Suckow (division manager) and his team, it is not uncommon for assignments in this area to be announced at very short notice. Here, speedy and reliable processing is part of the daily routine.

In addition to the port of Hamburg, our fire watches also accompany various cruise ships throughout Europe. These orders are also carefully prepared and planned in advance by our team.

Division Manager Matthias has been part of our company since 2008 and looks back on years of experience.

Central Personnel Dispatch (ZPD)

Central personnel scheduling is the heart of the company. This is where the management of the entire head office staff takes place. All objects and orders are scheduled in this department. Shift work is performed in order to be able to implement responsive solutions at any time. The central personnel scheduling department has an overview of all available forces at Pütz Security AG at all times and always coordinates closely with the responsible division managers during planning. The personnel planners deal with the core business of planning and work across divisions, which is why all existing potentials of personnel resources are recognized here. This results in creative solutions that also contribute to employee satisfaction.

Sabrina Hödtke (Head of ZPD) and Jana Seidenberg (Dispatcher) face the daily challenge of economic personnel management that produces satisfied customers and employees. Both women have been an integral part of our company for numerous years.

The ZPD is a key unique selling point in the industry. This innovative structure enables us to develop staffing solutions that transcend divisional and departmental boundaries. This concept has already proven its worth in dealing with countless personnel-intensive exceptional situations.

Training management

Katja Pütz

Karoline Pütz, Sabrina Hödtke & Thomas Metzler

Training is a very special priority in our company and training activities are directly supervised by our Executive Board.

We train both the profession of specialist for protection and security and the profession of office management assistant. In addition, we were approved as a partner company for dual students in 2016.

Our training managers Thomas Metzler and Katja Pütz already have many years of experience in our company and are also specialists in their field.
Thomas Metzler first worked for Pütz Security AG in 2005 and has been the contact person since 2019 when it comes to training as a specialist for protection and security in our company. He himself is a master for protection and security and supports our trainees with all his knowledge and experience.

Katja Pütz has been working for Pütz Security AG since 2001 and has been the contact person for office management training in our company since the beginning.

Dominic Heil and Karoline Pütz are responsible for the administrative coordination of the training. Her responsibilities include preparing contracts, writing rosters, general communication to trainees (for non-subject specific issues), and much more.

The entire team works together to ensure that trainees feel comfortable with us and can benefit from our experience in the industry over the years.

Dual students

Competence is a top priority in our company. In addition to further training and apprenticeships, we have also been able to guarantee this since 2016 by being approved as a partner company for dual studies.

Our dual business administration students mainly support the various departments of our management team, but also actively assist the operational level when needed.

Within the dual study program at our company, theory can be combined with practice and our students can benefit from the many years of experience of our management team. They are fully integrated into the day-to-day work, are involved in decision-making processes and are also allowed to participate in site openings, for example. In addition, they are sometimes in direct contact with our customers and employees and also take on the management of their own projects.

Our dual students also have to complete a practical assignment each semester, which is a great way to put what they have learned in the theory phase into practical application. Here, possible operational problems are identified, described, analyzed and solved using scientific tools and the findings are documented in the term paper. This is not only helpful for the student, but also benefits our company.

Trainee office management

In addition to our dual students, our middle management is also supported by our office management trainees.

We attach great importance to involving our trainees in the day-to-day work in the best possible way and letting them benefit from our many years of experience in the industry.

In addition to working in the office, our trainees can, if they wish, also be deployed in the reception service or accompany events for which they have previously supported the planning.

Trainee specialists for protection and security

Trainee FKSS

Trained and competent personnel is a prerequisite for success in the security industry. This is precisely why we have been focusing on in-house training for years.

With Thomas Metzler, our trainees for protection and security specialist have a training manager at their side who has the necessary know-how and experience in the industry. In so-called “deployment trainings”, he imparts to the trainees the necessary knowledge to be able to act correctly in a wide variety of situations. Even outside these meetings, we in the company always have an open ear for our trainees and try to help them in word and deed at all times.

Our trainees go through all the areas that our company has to offer. This includes, among other things, separate guard duty, event security, fire guard duty and also duty in one of our emergency call centers. In addition, they can also work at our headquarters in Kaltenkirchen and, for example, assist with the planning of events and the like.

Parking management

The focus of this area is the management and marketing of parking areas operated by Pütz Security AG. These areas are located in the Hamburg urban area. Park operation, provision for event organizers and maintenance of the areas must be coordinated economically – this is the task of Bernd Hödtke and his team.

Repair / Technology

Holger Andersen & Michal Baranowski

Where craftsmanship and technical expertise are required, Holger Andersen and Michal Baranowski come into play. With fully equipped service vehicles, they can reach any site within the shortest possible time and fulfill customer requests or rectify operational faults directly on site.

Their everyday work: security technology at the customer’s site, repairs to barrier systems, fleet maintenance, green maintenance and any other craft activity that serves to maintain the orderly flow of operations. They do not move away again until their job is done and make no distinction between day and night
